Directions
From Greensboro
- Take 220 Bypass South to the Hwy. 49 South (Charlotte) exit, turn right (follow the NCAM Signs).
- Go about 3 miles to Tot Hill Farm Rd., turn left.
- Go about 2 miles to stop sign at Pilot's View Road, turn right.
- Proceed straight ahead at end of road into fenced-in parking area. Museum is on left. Traveling time: 35-45 minutes from downtown Greensboro.
From Charlotte - Take NC Hwy. 49 North towards Asheboro. Follow the directions on the brown state signs to the museum. Traveling time: 90 minutes from downtown Charlotte.
From Raleigh - Take US Hwy. 64 West to Asheboro and get on NC Hwy. 49 South. Follow the large brown state signs to the museum. Traveling time: 90 minutes from downtown Raleigh.
From Washington, D.C. - Take I-95 South to Richmond and get on I-85 South. Follow signs to Greensboro. Stay on I-85 South to the Asheboro exit. Take the exit for US Hwy. 220 South/I-73/I-74. Then follow the above directions from Greensboro. Traveling time: 5 hours.
From Fort Bragg- Take NC Hwy. 87 North to Sanford. Get onto US Hwy. 421 North. Take the US Hwy. 64 West exit in Siler City. Take US Hwy. 64 West to NC Hwy. 49 South. Follow large brown state signs to the museum. Traveling time: 2 hours from the installation.
From Asheville - Take I-40 East to Mocksville. Turn right onto US Hwy. 64. Stay on that until you get to Asheboro. Follow signs to NC Hwy. 49 South and then follow the large brown state signs to the museum. Traveling time: 3-1/2 hours.
From Raleigh - Take US Hwy. 64 West to Asheboro and get on NC Hwy. 49 South. Follow the large brown state signs to the museum. Traveling time: 90 minutes from downtown Raleigh.
