NCAM officials approve June 6 for third annual fly-in
North Carolina Aviation Museum officials recently approved June 6, 2009 as the date for the "NCAM Annual Fly-In."
The event will feature a variety of aircraft, including vintage, historical, experimental and homemade. The EAA Young Eagles will be sponsoring FREE flights for children 8-17. A variety of food and merchandise vendors will be available throughout the day.
The event will be conducted from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the NCAM and Asheboro Regional Airport. The museum is located at 2222-G Pilot's View Road, about 5 miles outside of Asheboro.
The price is just $10 per carload and includes the fly-in and admission to the aviation museum. For more information, please call the museum staff at 336-625-0170 during normal business hours.
