Caretakers Closet

July 30, 2010 - Our biggest needs at the current time include the following:

DISPLAY CABINETS - they don't have to be perfect by any means, however, they must FREE (OR NEARLY FREE) and in good condition (with locks already, or at least capable of handling a generic locking system of some type). I currently have at least 250 more items to put on exhibit, once I am able to obtain the display cases. We also need a few good gun cases as well.

FRAMING SERVICES - presently, we have an additional 100-plus pieces of artwork to display, once framing services/easels are obtained.

Mannequins/Busts - About 50 uniforms are waiting to go on display, once we are able to find sources to donate mannequins/busts of various size, sex and race.

Table/Chairs - As our events continue to grow, so does our need for seating. We can handle about 100 now, but we would love to find some additional tables and chairs as soon as possible. Got any ideas?

GIANT FLAGS - although I gotten about 75 percent of the redesign complete, one of the last items I would like to see in place are some giant flags (of the major players in WWI, WWII, Korea, Vietnam, Desert Wars, etc.) to go high on the walls completely around both hangars interiors. What a sight this will be if we can find the enough people/businesses/schools/churches to help make the vision a reality!!
